What we offer

Reformer Group Classes

From Getting Started sessions getting you familiar with the principles of Pilates and equipment set up to creative flow practices you will bring your Pilates experience to the next level gliding on the Reformer. To ensure you get individual attention the groups are small (5 max) per class. Reformer provides a wonderful workout focusing on core, flexibility and mobilisation but it’s a low impact type of exercise so your joints are not at any risk.

Mat Group Classes

If you’re unsure about joining a Reformer class or you just love Pilates on the mat, this could be the class for you. Mat classes are kept small, with a maximum of 8 people. We’re all about giving individual attention and support as you grow stronger and more flexible.

In mat classes, the emphasis is on body awareness, alignment and stabilising key muscles. Your spine will love Pilates. Guaranteed you will leave feeling taller than when you arrived at the studio. We use many different props and small Pilates equipment while working on the mat so be ready to play with some new toys.

Studio

Semi-Private classes (Phoenix class)

This is an ideal option to workout with your fellow Pilates pals on a program involving all of the Pilates equipment available in the studio. The workout will be tailored to include specific individual goals,  progressions and modifications. This is also a great option if you are working on rehab or specific injury prevention.

Semi-private classes are for 3 people max. You can share the session with friends or fellow clients at b-Well Pilates.

Individual 1:1 Classes

An individual session is such a worthwhile investment in yourself. Those new to Pilates sometimes choose a more personal setting to learn the basics of the movement. To that end, a private session would be more supportive as they gradually build the necessary skills and confidence to join a bigger group.

For those recovering from an injury, an individual session would be advisable as I can work closely with your physio or GP to support you in progressing to where you can move and feel better.

In an individual session, the focus is on you, your body, developing a program tailored to your body’s unique needs and working towards creating your best version of you.

In addition, some clients choose a 1:1 session if working on specific goals such as improving sports performance, challenging their bodies, recovering from injuries, dealing with back-pain or just for injury prevention. Once up and running they form a semi-private group with two others or join a class.

Due to time constraints, there are limited spaces for individual classes within the studio schedule so advance booking is necessary.

Reformer & Equipment Pregnancy Pilates

Pilates on the Reformer is an amazing way to keep yourself strong and flexible while preparing your body for the after baby life. This is a safe practice involving a slow pace set of modified pilates exercises, using not only the Reformer but a variety of other props including birthing balls, spine correctors (barrels) and bands just to name some. You’ll find you will be truly blooming through each stage and feel in the mood to enjoy every moment of your pregnancy journey.

The class is run by a fully certified Pregnancy Pilates Mat, Reformer & Equipment Instructor,  but Raquel is also a Pregnancy Yoga teacher so she’ll be introducing some breathing and relaxation techniques from time to time to slow down those hormone peaks in preparation for the birthing experience.
