b-Well Pilates
b-Well Pilates offers monthly memberships of 6 classes (€119), 8 classes (€145) and 12 classes (€209). Memberships are personal to the named member and cannot be shared, transferred, sold or assigned. Memberships provide access to eligible b-Well regular group classes, subject to availability and these terms.
Membership credits may be used for eligible Reformer, Mat, Tower, Mixed Equipment and other regular group classes offered by b-Well Pilates. Memberships do not include Pre & Post Natal Pilates, Well for Life, private sessions, duets, workshops, special events or other separately priced programmes. Members may receive 10% off selected workshops and special events where stated at the time of booking. Discounts cannot be exchanged for membership credits or cash.
Memberships are billed by automatic recurring payment each month. The applicable price is displayed before purchase. There is currently no joining fee unless a different fee is clearly displayed before purchase. Members must keep payment details up to date and ensure sufficient funds are available when the monthly payment is due.
All memberships have a minimum commitment of three consecutive months. After the initial three months, the membership automatically continues on a month-to-month basis and the applicable monthly fee is charged automatically unless cancelled in accordance with these terms. The membership is not a fixed one-year contract; it runs from the member’s start date on a rolling monthly basis.
The 6, 8 or 12 credits are issued for each monthly billing cycle. Credits are valid only for that billing period. Unused credits do not roll over, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, refunded or exchanged. Membership does not guarantee a place in a particular class; bookings are subject to availability.
Members receive priority booking access to eligible classes through their active membership pass. The advance-booking window is determined by the validity period of the active pass and the booking settings in bSport and may vary during the membership billing cycle. Members may therefore be able to book eligible classes in advance of clients using other booking products. Priority booking does not guarantee availability or a place in a particular class.
Members are responsible for booking classes appropriate to their experience and ability. Certain classes may have level, experience or prerequisite requirements, which will be indicated in the booking system or class description. For safety, b-Well may recommend that a member attend a Foundation or introductory class, move to a more appropriate class, or speak with an instructor before attending a class that is not suitable for their current level. A beginner should not book a Level 2 class unless b-Well has advised or approved this. Where a member books a class that they do not meet the stated prerequisites for, b-Well may move them to a more appropriate class where possible. Applicable booking and cancellation rules continue to apply.
A booked class must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time to retain the membership credit. A cancellation made less than 24 hours before class, or a no-show, results in loss of that credit. Cancellations should be made through the b-Well booking system where possible. Messages by text, phone or social media do not cancel abooking unless b-Well confirms otherwise.
If b-Well Pilates cancels a class, the affected membership credit is automatically returned to the member’s account immediately. The returned credit may be used to book another eligible class, subject to availability. A member will not lose a credit because b-Well cancelled the class.
b-Well Pilates may reasonably amend, replace, introduce or discontinue group class types, formats and timetable arrangements where there is a valid operational or business reason, including client demand, attendance levels, studio capacity, safety or operational requirements. The exact class type or format cannot be guaranteed for the duration of a membership. Classes described as Reformer/Tower may be delivered as either Reformer or Tower, and classes described as Reformer/Mat may be delivered as either Reformer or Mat. A particular instructor cannot be guaranteed. b-Well may use suitably qualified substitute instructors, including due to illness, holidays, emergencies, availability or other operational reasons. b-Well will endeavour to maintain a suitable range of eligible group classes. Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights where the service does not conform to the contract.
No membership pause is available during the initial three-month minimum commitment. After completing the initial three months, a member may pause the membership once during each 12-month membership period. The pause must be for one full calendar month, cannot be partial, and must be requested before the next billing date. The approved pause suspends the membership payment for that month and the membership automatically resumes the following month. A pause extends the membership commitment by the length of the pause. Unused credits do not carry into the pause month or the following month. The pause entitlement is based on the member’s individual membership period and does not reset on 1 January.
After the initial three-month minimum commitment has been completed, a member may request cancellation by emailing [email protected] before the next scheduled billing date. If received before the next billing date, no further payment will be taken and the membership remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. If payment has already been processed, the membership remains active until the end of that paid period. No refund is provided for an unused portion of a paid billing period except where required by law or applicable statutory rights. Cancellation does not guarantee the same price, membership type or availability if the member later rejoins.
Members must ensure sufficient funds are available and payment details remain valid. If a membership payment fails, b-Well may suspend the membership, prevent further bookings using it and cancel future bookings made against it. If payment is later made, reinstatement of the membership and previously cancelled bookings is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. A previously booked class place cannot be guaranteed after a failed payment.
b-Well Pilates may review membership prices from time to time. Where an existing member’s price is to increase, b-Well
will give reasonable advance notice of the new price and when it will apply. Where required by law, the member will
have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect. Price changes do not retrospectively alter payments
already made for a completed billing period.
Where a membership is purchased online, the member may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal/cooling-off right, subject to applicable Irish consumer law and any relevant exceptions. Where the right applies, the member may cancel without giving a reason within the applicable period. If the member expressly requests that the membership service begins during the withdrawal period and then validly cancels, b-Well may be entitled to retain a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation, as permitted by law. Where the right applies, b-Well will provide the required cancellation information and form. This statutory right is separate from the normal membership cancellation process and is not removed by the three-month minimum commitment.
Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, the member may notify b-Well in writing at [email protected]. The member does not have to use a particular wording unless required by law. A member may state: “I hereby give notice that I wish to cancel my b-Well Pilates membership purchased online.” Where a refund is legally due, b-Well will process it in accordance with applicable law and the original payment method, subject to any lawful deduction for services supplied before cancellation.
Following purchase, b-Well will provide confirmation of the membership and applicable contractual information through the booking/payment system or by email, as applicable. Members should retain the confirmation and these terms for their records.
Members must inform b-Well Pilates or their instructor of any injury, medical condition, pregnancy or other circumstance that may affect safe participation. Members should work within their abilities and follow instructor guidance. b-Well may recommend appropriate medical or professional advice where necessary. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
b-Well may suspend or terminate a membership for non-payment, fraudulent activity, misuse, abusive behaviour or serious breach of these terms, subject to applicable law and any required notice or opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not limit statutory consumer rights.
b-Well may update these terms where there is a valid reason, including changes in law, payment or booking systems, studio operations or membership administration. Where a change materially affects an existing member’s rights or obligations, b-Well will give reasonable advance notice where required. Changes will not remove or reduce statutory consumer rights.
Personal information provided when purchasing or using a membership will be handled in accordance with b-Well Pilates’ applicable privacy policy and data protection obligations.
For membership cancellations, pause requests or membership questions, contact b-Well Pilates at [email protected]. Members should keep a record of cancellation or other important membership communications.
By completing an online membership purchase, the member confirms that they have had the opportunity to read these Membership Terms & Conditions before payment, understands the membership price, three-month minimum commitment, automatic monthly renewal, booking and cancellation rules, pause arrangements and class suitability requirements, and agrees to these terms subject to their statutory consumer rights.
